ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

Responsibility

• Handle full set of accounts and month-end closing activities.
• Handle daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL).
• Perform daily data entry for financial transactions (invoices, payments, receipts) into the accounting system.
• Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Prepare payment vouchers, official receipts, and petty cash reimbursements.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly P&L statements and balance sheets.
• Assist in filing of SST (or relevant local tax) submissions.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation for record-keeping and audit purposes.
• Perform other account duties as assigned by immediate superior.

Requirements

• Possess at least LCCI ,Diploma in Accounting or equivalent professional Accounting qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role within the manufacturing industry.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SQL, Auto Count, SAP).
• Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with Chinese skills being a plus for broader communication.
