Accounts Assistant

THIS POSITION WILL BE BASED IN MENARA KLK, MUTIARA DAMANSARA.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To verify invoices in APS system and check and post invoices into SAP system promptly and accurately
• To send workflow to clarify with purchaser, requester and good received person if there are any discrepancies arises.
• To prepare supplier payment according to due date.
• To do clearing for advance payment.
• To ensure no long outstanding payments.
• Participate in routine stock take as and when required.
• To perform any other duties assigned by superior from time to time.

JOB SUCCESS REQUIREMENTS

• Basic accounting principles - ability to maintain General ledger and coding.
• Computing skills - ability to operate SAP ECC6 and spreadsheets and competency in Microsoft Word would be an added advantage.
• Prior working experience in the manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
• Prior experience working in a Shared Services Centre (SSC), Global Business Services (GBS), or similar centralised finance environment is preferred.

• Strong communication skills and possess good command of English and BM.
• Trustworthy - ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Mature, hardworking and committed in meeting deadlines.
• Good personality and willing to learn.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum LCCI Diploma /with part ACCA/CIMA professional qualification or accounting graduates or equivalent.
