Accounts Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Assistant to support our daily accounting operations. You will assist with maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices and payments, and preparing basic accounting reports.

This role is suitable for someone who is organised, willing to learn and comfortable working with numbers.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain invoices, receipts, payments and other accounting documents

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities

• Check invoices and supporting documents for accuracy

• Perform basic data entry and bank reconciliation

• Maintain proper filing of accounting records

• Assist with monthly closing and preparation of basic reports

• Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal teams when needed

• Support other administrative or accounting tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance or a related field

• Fresh graduates and candidates with relevant experience are welcome to apply

• Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles

• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel

• Experience with accounting software is an advantage, but training can be provided

• Systematic, organised and meticulous.

• Working experience in a law firm will be an added advantage.

• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia
