ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

ECX Global Forwarding is an established freight forwarding and logistics provider specializing in air, sea and land transportation solutions. We are looking for a detailed-oriented and reliable Accounts Assistant to join our finance team and support out day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• To prepare and issue daily payment vouchers for carrier charges, shipping lines, airlines, co-loaders, hauliers and custom duties.
• To maintain accurate financial records and filing of physical payment vouchers and e-invoices for audit and tax purposes.
• Preparing accounting reports cum administrative duties assigned by Finance Manager.

Requirement & Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting, ideally within freight forwarding, logistics or shipping industries.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy with figures and ability to handle time-sensitive payment deadlines.
• Team player with sound interpersonal skill and passion for accounting jobs.
• Good computer literacy especially in MS Office packages.
