Accounts Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Accounts Assistant to support our day-to-day accounting functions. This is an entry level role suited to fresh graduates or candidates with accounting experience who are looking for new challenges and progress in their career.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivables and payables
• Ensure accounting schedules, ledger and journals are current
• Accounting documents and records management
• Support ongoing accounting software migration (Odoo)
• Support reports and budget preparation
• Support sales and purchase order entries
• Perform other ad-hoc administrative or operational support duties as assigned

About you

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Studies, or related field
• 0–2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Good understanding of bookkeeping principles (debits/credits, invoice processing)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365; exposure to accounting software (Odoo, AutoCount, SQL Accounting) is an advantage
• Meticulous, organized, and comfortable with repetitive tasks
• Willing to learn and follow structured processes
• Good communication skills; proficiency in English required, Mandarin/Bahasa Malaysia an advantage
