Accounts assistant

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Accountant to join a CA Firm in Mohali. The candidate should have practical knowledge of accounting and be comfortable working on Tally ERP or Tally Prime.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and records.
• Handle sales, purchase, receipt and payment entries.
• Maintain ledgers and vouchers.
• Assist in bank reconciliation and basic accounting activities.
• Work on Tally ERP / Tally Prime for accounting entries.
• Assist with GST and other accounting-related work.
• Coordinate with clients and collect required documents/information.
• Attend client meetings whenever required.
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience working in a CA Firm will be preferred.
• Good working knowledge of Tally ERP or Tally Prime.
• Basic understanding of accounting and GST.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.
• Candidate must have a two-wheeler, as client meetings may be required.
• Should be responsible, organized and willing to learn.

Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com or relevant accounting qualification preferred.

Important Requirement

Two-wheeler is required for attending client meetings.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
