Accounts Assistant – MML Leisure

Are you an organised Accounts Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a fast paced hospitality business? Would you like to join the team behind some of Glasgow’s most exciting hospitality venues?

MML Leisure is the group behind Kong, Wunderbar, Hide & Seek, The Exchange and Citation, and we’re on the lookout for a detail focused Accounts Assistant to join our central finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous accounts experience who is looking to develop their skills within a growing, multi-site hospitality group.

What you’ll do:

• Process purchase ledger invoices and complete reconciliations
• Process daily cash sheets and reconcile these to cash balances
• Complete bank reconciliations
• Process and reconcile employee expenses
• Reconcile monthly credit card statements
• Process intercompany sales and purchase recharges
• Analyse utility costs across several venues, process invoices and prepare relevant recharges
• Provide general finance and administrative support to the wider team
• Assist with ad hoc finance tasks and projects as required

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Previous experience in an accounts or finance role.
• Good knowledge of purchase ledger, reconciliations and general accounting processes
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Confidence working with figures and investigating discrepancies
• Experience using Xero (ideal but not essential)
• The ability to manage multiple tasks across different sites and meet deadlines
• A proactive, reliable and positive approach to your work
• Hospitality or multi-site experience would be a bonus, but isn’t essential
