About the role

An established packaging company is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team in Shah Alam, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the company's financial records and ensuring accuracy across all accounting processes.

What you'll be doing

• Performing general accounting duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Preparing and processing invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documents
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records and financial databases
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statement
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of accounting procedures and systems

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
• Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
