Accounts Assistant

Job Summary

The Account Assistant is responsible for providing support in the daily operations of the accounting function. The role includes maintaining accurate accounting records, assisting with transaction processing, account reconciliation, documentation, reporting, and other accounting-related activities. This role offers valuable exposure to accounting processes and provides opportunities to develop strong technical and practical accounting skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• To help perform daily accounting operation activities and function such as data entry, issue cheque, etc.
• To maintain proper filing system to ensure all documents are traceable in an efficient manner.
• Provide administrative support to accountants.
• Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
• Assist the department for to ensure smooth running of daily operation in office such as clerical tasks such as typing, filing, making phone calls, handling mail, basic bookkeeping and other ad-hoc task assigned by superior.

Job requirement:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply (internship or prior accounting exposure is an advantage).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting
• Ability to work under deadlines and multitask effectively
