Accounts Assistant

We are looking for an organised, reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team in Montrose.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in accounts or finance who enjoys working with numbers, keeping accurate records and supporting the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing purchase and sales invoices
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Assisting with accounts payable and receivable
• Reconciling bank statements and account balances
• Monitoring payments and following up outstanding invoices
• Assisting with month-end procedures
• Providing general administrative and finance support as required

About You

• Previous experience in an accounts or finance role is desirable
• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Confident using Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• A positive, flexible and proactive approach to work

Working Hours

The role is based in Montrose, working Monday to Thursday, 9:00am–5:00pm. These hours are negotiable for the right candidate.
