Job Profile – Accounts Assistant/Accounts Executive

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally/ERP and Excel.
• Prepare sales invoices, purchase bills, debit notes and credit notes.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable and maintain customer/vendor ledgers.
• Perform bank reconciliation and maintain bank, cash and petty cash records.
• Verify purchase bills, GST invoices and supporting documents.
• Assist in GST returns, TDS calculations, payments and other statutory compliances.
• Maintain records of payments, receipts, expenses and outstanding balances.
• Follow up with customers and vendors regarding payments and outstanding dues.
• Assist in monthly closing, preparation of reports and reconciliation of accounts.
• Maintain proper filing of vouchers, invoices, bills and other accounting documents.
• Coordinate with the purchase, sales, stores and HR departments for accounting-related matters.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the Accounts Head.

Eligibility & Skills

• Qualification: B.Com / M.Com
• Experience: 1–3 years in accounting
• Good knowledge of Tally, Excel and GST.
• Basic knowledge of TDS, bank reconciliation and accounting entries.
• Good communication, accuracy and record-keeping skills.

Preferred Candidate

Local Candidate with experience in a manufacturing or steel industry will be preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
