Accounts Assistant - Penrith

Aboriginal Employment Strategy (AES) is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on behalf of a leading Aboriginal Out-of-Home Care organisation based in Penrith.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated individual looking to build their career within a supportive and purpose-driven organisation dedicated to making a positive difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing accounts payable and receivable invoices
• Following up outstanding invoices and payments
• Assisting with account reconciliations
• Maintaining accurate financial records and data entry
• Liaising with suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders
• Providing general administrative support to the finance team
• Assisting with month-end financial processes

About You:

• Previous experience in an accounts or administration role
• Experience with Xero preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with accounting software is highly regarded
