Accounts Assistant (Contract)

About the role

Odex Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our accounting team on a 3-month contract basis. This role is based in the Orchard Road and offers an excellent opportunity to support our financial operations whilst developing your expertise in accounts management. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial records, contributing directly to the financial health and compliance of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Data-entry and data-mining for monthly and quarterly internal cost management reporting purpose
• Filing and organising financial documents
• Liaising with internal departments and external parties to obtain supporting documentation and clarify financial transactions
• Assisting with general administrative duties as required to support the accounting function

What we're looking for

• Fresh graduates welcome

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and financial calculations

• A qualification in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field, such as O-Level or A-Level accounting, diploma or professional accounting qualification is a bonus

• Relevant accounting experience is a bonus

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines consistently

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders

• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial informatio
