Accounts Assistant (Entry Level)- Outram

Responsibilities

Process payments and issue cheques

Prepare tax invoices, credit notes and debit notes

Handle petty cash transactions

Prepare receipts and accounting vouchers

Process GIRO application forms for customers and vendors

Prepare bank remittance application forms

Prepare Letter of Credit application forms

Assist with cost apportionment and general accounting administration

Attend to enquiries and submissions to the Department of Statistics

Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents

Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

Diploma in Accounting

Basic knowledge of accounting principles

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage

Meticulous, organised and willing to learn

Able to work independently and as part of a team
