Accounts Associate

About the Role

We are looking for an Accounts Associate to join our Finance team and support the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the organisation.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of accounting principles, be comfortable handling accounting entries and reconciliations, and have working knowledge of GST, TDS and other routine finance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including recording sales, purchase, expense and other accounting transactions.
• Process and verify invoices, bills and payment-related documents.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Perform regular bank, vendor and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory compliance activities.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records and supporting documents.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly closing activities.
• Track outstanding receivables and payables and follow up with relevant stakeholders where required.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams regarding invoices, payments and accounting queries.
• Prepare basic MIS and accounting reports as required.
• Assist the senior finance team with audits and other finance-related requirements.
• Ensure proper maintenance and filing of financial documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Experience with bank and ledger reconciliation.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Experience working on accounting software/ERP such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or similar systems is preferred.
• Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounting activities and meet deadlines.

Who Can Apply?

Candidates with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in accounting, particularly in areas such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, invoicing, GST/TDS and general accounting, can apply.

Preferred Background: B.Com / M.Com / BBA Finance / MBA Finance or equivalent.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
