Accounts Clerk

Job Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Prepare customer invoices, credit notes and statements.
• Prepare and submit e-Invoices according to LHDN requirements.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments.
• Prepare and maintain AR aging reports.
• Communicate with customers regarding payments and account matters.
• Check billing documents such as PO, DO and Work Order.
• Follow up on rejected or incorrect e-Invoices.

Accounts Payable (AP)

• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
• Check supplier invoices against POs and supporting documents.
• Verify invoice amounts, SST and payment terms.
• Process staff and company reimbursement claims.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting documents.

Other Duties

• Perform other ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
• LCCI, CAT or relevant accounting qualification is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in AR/AP or accounting is an advantage.

Skills

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Familiar with AR and AP processes.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with AutoCount or other accounting software is an advantage.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Responsible, hardworking and detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to learn. Training will be provided.
