Accounts Clerk

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Clerk to join the finance team at KRTI RESOURCES. This is a full-time position based in Klang, Selangor. As an Accounts Clerk, you will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will be responsible for processing financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position is fundamental to supporting the smooth operation of our finance department and contributing to the overall financial health of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Recording financial transactions in the accounting system, including invoices, receipts and payments
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness
• Reconciling bank statements and ledger accounts on a monthly basis
• Preparing and maintaining financial documentation and records in accordance with company policies
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Performing data entry tasks and maintaining database accuracy
• Supporting the accounts team with general administrative duties and ad-hoc projects
• Liaising with internal departments and external parties regarding financial queries
• Ensuring all financial transactions comply with relevant regulations and company procedures

What we're looking for

• A qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field (SPM, Diploma or Degree level)
• Proven experience as an Accounts Clerk or in a similar accounting support role
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting practices
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanour
• Familiarity with Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations is advantageous
