Accounts Clerks

About the role

We are Studio AASB, an architectural firm in Kuching with an immediate position for an Accounts Clerk candidate to support our Accounts & Finance team. The position is foran accounting and clerical support role within the accounting department, responsible for payroll, billings, supplier payments, accounts reconciliation, invoicing, and financial data entry.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll, billings, supplier payments, and accounts reconciliation
• Prepare invoicing and manage records on staff annual leave and sick leaves
• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting and finance department
• Enter daily key data of financial transactions in the database
• Update, process and check transactions of accounts and other records assigned by Accounts Manager
• Maintain filing of all required documents of invoices, receipts, payments and other documents
• Process payment for staff claims, rental, cash payment, creditors
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Accounts Manager and Management

About you

• Certificate, diploma, advanced diploma, or higher graduate diploma
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and accounting software
• Proficient in internet and online banking
• Good in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills
• Attention to detail
• Previous working experience in construction industry is a plus
