Accounts Executive (AP / AR)

About the Role

We are looking for an Accounts Executive to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), billing, payment follow-up and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Prepare customer invoices, credit notes, debit notes and statements of account.
• Monitor customer outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
• Process supplier invoices and arrange payments.
• Perform bank, customer and supplier reconciliations.
• Check and verify accounting entries and supporting documents.
• Assist with month-end closing and prepare relevant financial reports.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal departments on billing and payment matters.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation for audit purposes.
• Assist with GST and other accounting-related matters.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in AP/AR and full set accounting will be an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
