Accounts Executive - AP

·       Basic up to $3600 + VB

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable transactions and ensure accurate accounting entries in the system
• Process trade purchases, returns, invoices and credit notes
• Record operating expenses, CAPEX and rental invoices
• Prepare bi-weekly supplier payments and verify invoices due for payment
• Handle AR/AP offsetting and supplier account reconciliation
• Process company corporate card transactions and GST recording
• Prepare customs duty and tax-related entries
• Maintain AP ageing reports, vendor reconciliations and rental analysis schedules
• Perform new vendor setup validation and payment term maintenance
• Prepare audit schedules, vendor/intercompany confirmations and supporting documents
• Support finance-related projects and other ad-hoc duties when required

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of Accounts Payable experience
• Strong understanding of AP processes and accounting principles
• Meticulous, analytical and detail-oriented
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Good business and financial acumen
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
