What they need
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly end reports, including balance sheet reconciliations and VAT returns.
- Maintain bookkeeping records using Xero or Quick Books software, adhering to UK GAAP standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations related to VAT.
Job Requirements :
- 2-10 years of experience in accountancy or a related field.
- Proficiency in preparing general ledger GL statements and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and VAT (Value Added Tax).
- Experience with book keeping software such as Xero or Quick Books.
