Accounts Executive

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Executive to join our team at DASHENG MANAGEMENT SDN. BHD. in Klang, Selangor. This is a full-time position responsible for maintaining the company's financial records and providing administrative support to the accounting department.

What you'll be doing

• Responsible for handling full sets of accounts, audit, tax, cash flow, and all finance related monthly closing
• Liaison with external auditors and tax agents on statutory audit and tax matters.
• Monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet & General Ledger preparation.
• Reconciling bank statements and maintaining accurate accounting records
• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Providing support to the finance team with various accounting tasks
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
• Collaborating with other departments to provide financial information and analysis
• Knowledge in SQL will be more favorable.

What we're looking for

• Relevant degree or diploma in accounting or finance
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the restaurant/hospitality industry
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Required languages: Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients, English & Bahasa Melayu.
