Accounts Executive

About the role

Prepare full set or partial of accounts, financial statements and assist in audits, GST preparation for Smart Group of Companies. Perform day to day transactions and provide daily administrative support to accounts and retail operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accounting schedules for audit and financial statements preparation
• Ensure accounting deadlines are met
• Assist with basic accounting duties including checking and data entry of sales and stock inventory, bookkeeping, petty cash management and banking duties
• Prepare bank reconciliations of account receivables and payables to GL
• Prepare and issue payment vouchers and cheque for payment or GIRO
• Prepare invoices for billing purposes
• Work with other company functions to resolve payment and receipt issues effectively and efficiently
• Liaise with Auditor, Tax Agent and Bank and provide them with the required information efficiently and accurately

About you

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance/ACCA
• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferable with audit experience
• Possess a willing-to-learn attitude
• Team player with good communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel
• Possess the authorization right to work in Singapore
