Accounts Executive

SAC Berhad, a proudly listed entity and an established leader in the paint manufacturing industry. We are seeking an Account Executive to join our team for maternity cover.

Contract Role – Accounts Executive (Maternity Cover) 
Period: September 2026 – March 2027

Job Highlights

• Assist in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) and/or Accounts Payable (AP) functions.

• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience.

• Exposure to credit control, intercompany transactions, and internal controls.

• Support month-end closing and financial reporting.

• Handle ad hoc finance and accounting tasks.

• Work closely with Sales, Purchase, and Finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Issue Credit Notes (CN) and Official Receipts (OR).

• Maintain customer accounts and monitor overdue balances.

• Follow up on outstanding collections and assist with recovery actions.

• Prepare collection forecasts and related reports.

• Process intercompany entries.

• Assist with month-end AR closing and reporting.

Accounts Payable (AP)

• Verify invoices and maintain vendor records.

• Create and maintain creditor codes.

• Prepare Payment Vouchers (PV).

• Issue Credit Notes / Debit Notes (CN/DN).

• Follow up on unrecorded liabilities.

• Assist with month-end AP closing.

Other Responsibilities

• Support external and internal audits.

• Assist with internal control activities.

• Perform other ad hoc accounting and finance duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience.

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to meet deadlines.

• Good communication skills and a strong team player.
