Accounts Executive

About this Role

This role supports the Finance function in managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and tax requirements.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Managing daily accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & General Ledger.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of schedules and reconciliations.
• Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in a timely manner, all accounting records and documents are properly filed, labelled and kept for future references.
• Prepare and monitor AR/AP ageing reports as well as follow-up on outstanding balances. Action needs to be taken when necessary (e.g.: issue Statement of account on monthly basis, follow-up reminder emails & etc).
• Liaise with suppliers, clients and external auditors.
• Prepare and provide required reports to tax agent for Service Tax submission
• Assist with ad-hock tasks and projects assigned by Finance Manager/Senior Finance Manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, SAP).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Able to meet tight deadline and work independently.
