Accounts Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have 35 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably gained in a CA Firm, with strong hands-on knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.

The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining financial records, reconciliations, and supporting statutory and compliance-related work.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Maintain and update accounting records accurately in Tally.
• Prepare and maintain ledgers, vouchers, journal entries, and invoices.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and accounting reports.
• Manage and maintain data and reports using MS Excel.
• Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding accounting-related matters.
• Assist in audits and provide necessary accounting documents and information.
• Ensure timely completion of accounting and compliance-related tasks.
• * Maintain proper documentation and ensure accuracy of financial records.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 35 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Prior experience working in a CA Firm is mandatory/preferred.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Tally.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Sound understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Knowledge of GST and TDS will be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates who have worked in a CA Firm, Chartered Accountant's office, or accounting consultancy and have practical exposure to multiple accounting and compliance activities will be preferred.
