ABOUT JERAM SAGA

Jeram Saga Sdn Bhd is a CIDB G7 construction company involved in multiple construction projects and ongoing business operations.

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Executive to join our team and take responsibility for the day-to-day accounting and financial administration of the company.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting matters across multiple projects and company operations, including:

• Handle daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers and receipts.
• Process supplier and subcontractor invoices.
• Monitor outstanding payments and collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Assist with project-related costing and financial tracking.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, auditors, tax agents and other external parties when required.
• Assist with audit, tax and statutory matters.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Practical experience handling full sets of accounting records or substantial day-to-day accounting functions.
• Proficient in UBS Accounting Software.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience in the construction industry is an advantage.
