Accounts Executive

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join Medinex Corporate Services Sdn. Bhd. in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organisation. As an Accounts Executive, you will be responsible for the following:

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions for assigned clients.
• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and supporting schedules.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare GST-related reports and supporting documentation where applicable.
• Assist with preparation and submission of statutory filings and compliance requirements.
• Prepare schedules and supporting documents for tax and audits.

What we're looking for

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional qualification
• Proven experience in bookkeeping, general accounting, or a similar accounting support role
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in high-volume transactions
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles, generally accepted accounting practices FRS and GST compliance
• Familiarity with Singapore tax regulations and corporate compliance requirements is advantageous
