Accounts Executive

About the role

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should be organised, meticulous, and comfortable handling day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting and finance-related matters
• Prepare invoices, payments, receipts and relevant documentation
• Maintain accurate accounting records and filing
• Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable duties
• Assist with bank reconciliation and monthly accounts closing
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers/suppliers
• Assist with GST and other accounting-related submissions
• Liaise with auditors, suppliers, customers and relevant parties when required
• Perform other ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties

About you

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• At least 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Meticulous, organised and able to work independently
• Good communication and time-management skills
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software will be an advantage
