Accounts Executive

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to support the day-to-day accounting and finance functions of our F&B business. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling accounts payable and receivable, performing reconciliations, and supporting month-end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full or partial set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
• Process supplier invoices, staff claims and payment transactions.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices, credit notes and statements of account where applicable.
• Perform daily or monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, cash collections and payment platforms.
• Reconcile sales records from POS systems, delivery platforms and other payment channels.
• Monitor outlet sales, cash deposits, credit card settlements and e-wallet collections.
• Maintain proper records of supplier invoices, purchase documents and supporting documentation.
• Assist in inventory, food cost and cost of sales reconciliation where required.
• Prepare monthly schedules for accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and other balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare GST-related schedules and supporting documents for GST reporting.
• Assist in preparing management reports, profit and loss reports and other financial information.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, auditors, tax agents and other external parties on accounting matters.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience; experience in the F&B or retail industry will be an advantage.
• Familiar with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic knowledge of Singapore GST and accounting requirements is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills.
• Able to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
• Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple outlets or entities where required.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in the following areas will have an added advantage:

• F&B or retail accounting.
• POS and sales reconciliation.
• Food delivery platforms such as GrabFood, foodpanda and Deliveroo.
• Inventory and food cost reconciliation.
• Multi-outlet accounting and inter-outlet transactions.
• GST preparation and submission support.
