Accounts Executive

About the role

Join the thriving accounting and advisory firm, ACCSENSE CONSULTING PTE. LTD., as an Accounts Executive. This full-time position is based in the Downtown Core Central Region, offering you the opportunity to play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive bookkeeping and small practice accounting services to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

• Manage a portfolio of clients' financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, bank reconciliations, and other key financial reports
• Assist with tax preparation, including GST filings and compliance
• Provide support and guidance to clients on accounting-related matters
• Collaborate with the wider team to identify opportunities for process improvements and client service enhancements
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure client compliance

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or small practice accounting
• Strong proficiency in accounting software, such as Xero or QuickBooks
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients
• Proactive and adaptable, with a keen interest in continuously improving processes
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting or a related field
