Accounts Executive

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Executive/Clerk to join our accounting department on a full-time basis. Based in Subang Jaya, Selangor, this role is fundamental to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the smooth operation of our accounting functions. As an Accounts Executive/Clerk, you will play a vital part in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and contributing to the financial integrity of our organization. This position offers the opportunity to develop your accounting skills whilst working with a professional team in a dynamic business environment.

What you'll be doing

• In charge of Accounts Payable, Receivables, General Ledger.

• Assist in preparing monthly full set accounts.

• Create periodic reports such as  sales reports, balance sheets, income statement, cash flow statements and etc.

• Responsible for day-to-day accounts and office administration works

• Perform monthly bank reconciliation.

• Daily retail outlets settlement reconciliations.

• Process staff claims.

• Assist with preparation of year end audits, schedules and liaise with auditor to complete the year end audit.

• Periodic stock take and stock report.

• Assist superior on ad hoc assignment.

What we're looking for

• Minimum Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. (Candidates with LCCI and proven experience are welcome to apply).

• Required language(s): Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia

• At least 1–2 years of working experience in handling Full Set Accounts.

• Must be hands-on and familiar with AutoCount Accounting Software.

• Proficient in MS Office, especially in MS Excel and Word.

• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure

• Sound knowledge of basic accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping and financial statement preparation

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Integrity and reliability, with the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn and develop within the role
