Accounts Executive

We are looking for an experienced, dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to independently manage the day-to-day accounting and financial administration of our architectural and design practice.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, responsible and comfortable managing full-set accounts, payroll, claims, billing and financial records with minimal supervision.

Experience in an architectural, consultancy, construction or professional services environment will be an added advantage.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Full Set of Accounts: Prepare and maintain complete and accurate company accounts using AutoCount Accounting Software
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage supplier payments, client billing, collections and outstanding accounts
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of bank statements, general ledger and related accounting records
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily cash position and assist in preparing cash-flow projections and reports
• Invoicing & Billing: Prepare and maintain invoices, receipts, credit notes and supporting documentation
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts, expense reports and other financial reports required by management
• Payroll: Process monthly payroll, payslips and statutory contributions including EPF, SOCSO and EIS
• Staff Claims: Review and process staff expense claims in accordance with company policies
• Tax & Statutory Matters: Assist with SST, PCB, taxation, e-Invoicing and other statutory accounting requirements, where applicable
• Audit Support: Prepare schedules, supporting documents and information required for annual audits and financial reviews
• Professional Liaison: Coordinate with clients, consultants, external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers and relevant authorities when required
• Directors’ & Management Accounts: Assist with confidential accounting and financial administrative matters, including tax matters, relating to the Directors and management, where required.
• Maintain proper filing, documentation and records for all accounting and financial matters

🔸 Requirements

• Diploma, Degree, LCCI, ACCA or other relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance
• **Hands-on experience with AutoCount Accounting Software is required (**𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲)
• Able to independently handle full-set accounts
• Familiar with payroll, staff claims and statutory contributions
• Knowledge of SST, taxation and e-Invoicing will be an advantage
• Experience in an architectural, consultancy, construction or professional services firm will be an added advantage
• Strong attention to detail with good organisational and time-management skills
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and responsibility
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision while also working effectively as part of a team
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken
• Possess a valid Class D Driving Licence (𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲 for this role)
