About the Role
Ocean One Ship Management is hiring an Accounts Executive to manage core accounting functions, including ledger maintenance, GST/TDS compliance, and financial reporting. This is a hands-on role suited to a candidate with practical experience in Tally and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and complete day-to-day ledger entries
• Operate Tally (ERP/Prime) for all core accounting functions
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and complete monthly reconciliations
• Calculate and deduct TDS, file TDS returns, and issue Form 16/16A
• Perform bank and vendor/customer ledger reconciliations
• Process vendor invoices, expense claims, and payments
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Liaise with auditors during statutory, internal, and tax audits
• Maintain organized documentation for all financial transactions
• Assist with MIS reporting and other finance team tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

• Master's Or Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field
• Relevant work experience in an accounts/finance role
• Working knowledge of Tally (ERP/Prime)
• Practical understanding of GST filing and reconciliation
• Practical understanding of TDS deduction and return filing
• Proficiency in ledger entries and journal scrutiny
• Working knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail
