Accounts Executive

Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing all the invoice processing, vendor payments and expense reimbursement processes for Kuala Lumpur, Shah Alam, N2, N3, Klang, Ijok, Karak, Kuantan Branch - Nirvana Memorial Parks Sdn Bhd (“NMP”), Nirvana Holdings Berhad (“NHB”), Nirvana Care Sdn Bhd (“NVC”), NV Alliance Sdn Bhd (“NVA”) and NMP’s Tomb division and semi-dormant/dormant companies.
• Ensure timely and accurate payments in line with company policies and contractual agreements.
• Manage and resolve escalations related to invoice discrepancies, payment issues or vendor queries.
• Create and maintain Accounts Payable (AP) master data in SAP system.
• Assist in monitoring inter-Group funds transfer and fund request for weekly payment.
• Confirm cheque or payment when receiving call from Banker.
• Supervise and guide the AP (Central) team to achieve performance goals.
• Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and efficiency.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations and other statutory requirements.
• Identify areas for process improvement to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Actively and provide support & information as requested by management.
• Carry out ad-hoc assignments as delegated by Senior Manager/Manager or Senior Management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting and relevant field
• Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese
• 2-3 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficient in MS Office
• Must have experience in using SAP system.
• Good analytical skills with attention to details
