Accounts Executive

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Executive with strong accounting fundamentals and hands-on experience in treasury and cash management. The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations, banking transactions, cash flow monitoring and treasury activities.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions, including AP, AR, GL and journal entries
• Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents
• Perform bank and account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare schedules, reports and supporting documents for management and audit purposes
• Monitor daily cash balances and bank transactions
• Prepare and process payments, fund transfers and banking transactions
• Assist in preparing daily/weekly cash flow reports and cash flow forecasts
• Liaise with banks on account matters, payment issues and banking documentation
• Assist in preparing monthly financial and treasury reports

About you

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Treasury or a related field
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, with hands-on exposure to treasury or cash management
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
• Experience in bank reconciliation, payment processing, cash flow monitoring and banking transactions
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required due to the role's frequent interaction with Mandarin-speaking management and external business partners.
