Accounts Executive

About the role

Mesiniaga Berhad is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Executive to manage daily accounting operations and support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts and daily accounting operations
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing
• Prepare financial reports and management reports
• Ensure timely submission of statutory payments and compliance matters
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by management

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Minimum 3 years of working experience as an Account Executive or in a similar accounting role
• Possess good knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations and book keeping procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially in Excel
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
