Accounts Executive

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to join our team at Daiden Equipment Sdn Bhd in Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for maintaining the company's financial records and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL)
• Manage rental billing cycles (monthly invoicing, progress billing, etc)
• Issue invoices for equipment sales and rental services
• Monitor customer payments and follow up on outstanding balances
• Perform bank reconciliation and assist in cash flow management
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Maintain proper records for contracts, invoices, and transactions
• Assist with SST reporting and compliance
• Support audit and tax processes
• Work closely with operations team on rental tracking and billing accuracy

About you

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounts executive or similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
