Accounts executive

Role & responsibilities

• anage day-to-day accounting operations, including sales, purchase, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable records.
• Prepare and review bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and ensure timely filing and payments.
• Prepare GST returns, TDS returns, and supporting documents.
• Manage monthly closing activities and ensure all accounting entries are completed on time.
• Prepare Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, and other MIS reports.
• Monitor receivables and payables and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Verify invoices, purchase bills, expense claims, debit/credit notes, and payment documents.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, customers, and internal departments.
• Handle Tally/ERP accounting systems and maintain proper documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and statutory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required schedules and documents.
• Review junior accountants' work and provide guidance and supervision.
• Analyze financial data and provide management reports and accounting insights.
• Maintain proper records, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents for audit purposes.
• Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timely completion of all accounting activities.
