Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales and purchase invoice preparation/entry in Tally ERP.
• Customer and supplier ledger maintenance and bill-wise accounting.
• Recording customer receipts and supplier payments.
• Bank entries, bank reconciliation and routine banking work.
• Bank visits for cheque deposits and coordination with bankers for routine banking requirements.
• GST invoice verification, GST reconciliation and GSTR-1/GSTR-3B data preparation.
• GSTR-2B/purchase reconciliation and identification of GST discrepancies.
• Fixed asset accounting, capitalization and maintenance of fixed asset register.
• Assist in depreciation workings and fixed asset physical verification.
• Inventory physical verification, stock reconciliation and variance reporting.
• Sales returns, purchase returns, credit notes and debit notes.
• Preparation of customer/supplier outstanding and ageing reports.
• Preparation of MIS and analysis reports such as customer-wise, product-wise, salesperson-wise and month-wise sales, purchases, collections, inventory and other management reports.
• Bank, customer, supplier, inventory and other account reconciliations.
• Assist in month-end/year-end closing and audit-related requirements.
• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with sales, purchase, stores, management, bankers and external consultants as required.

Required Skills:

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Good working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of accounting and GST.
• Experience in sales/purchase accounting and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B data/reconciliation.
• Good analytical and MIS reporting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
