Accounts Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Record and process purchase and sales accounting entries accurately in SAP.
• Ensure timely posting of vendor invoices, customer invoices, credit notes, and debit notes.
• Verify supporting documents before accounting entries to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation for all financial transactions.
• Assist in GST-related activities, including invoice verification, reconciliation, and data preparation for GST returns.
• Reconcile purchase and sales registers with accounting records.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and pending entries.
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and statutory requirements.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.
