Accounts Executive

Job Summary

Build your accounting career with hands-on experience in daily accounting operations, financial reporting and opportunities to grow within our Finance team.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR) and general ledger (GL).
• Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Assist in monthly closing, financial reporting and preparation of accounting schedules.
• Monitor outstanding payments, collections and supplier accounts.
• Support audit, tax, SST and e-Invoicing documentation.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers and other stakeholders on accounting matters.
• Assist in improving accounting processes and ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
• Support the Accounts Manager and Finance team on other accounting-related matters.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with 1–3 years of accounting experience are also welcome.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial transactions.
• Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Good numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Organised, responsible and able to manage deadlines.
• Proactive, willing to learn and comfortable working in a team.
