Accounts Executive

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Accounts Executives to join our Group Finance Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring accurate accounting records, timely reporting, and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day GL, AR, and AP activities.
• Prepare and post accounting journal entries.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
• Perform account, bank, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare reports, schedules, and supporting documents as required.
• Support audit, tax, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Liaise with internal departments and stakeholders on accounting matters.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance functions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in a Shared Services Centre (SSC) environment is an added advantage.
• Exposure to Power BI or other reporting and analytics tools is an added advantage.
