Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant with 2–3 years of relevant experience to manage day-to-day accounting, GST compliance, and financial records for our modular furniture franchise business.

The ideal candidate should have good working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime, GST, invoicing, taxation, and accounts management, preferably with experience in retail, furniture, interior design, or a trading business.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain daily accounts, purchase and sales entries in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.

Handle GST-related work, including GST returns, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and reconciliation.

Prepare sales invoices, purchase bills, payment vouchers, and receipts.

Manage accounts payable and receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.

Perform bank reconciliation and maintain cash and bank records.

Maintain vendor accounts, customer ledgers, and expense records.

Coordinate with the CA for GST filings, tax compliance, and financial statements.

Track purchase orders, sales transactions, and payments related to modular furniture projects.

Maintain proper documentation of bills, invoices, and other financial records.

Assist in monthly reporting, stock-related accounting, and other finance activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Graduate in Commerce (B.Com preferred).

2–3 years of experience in accounting.

Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime and GST.

Good understanding of GST compliance, invoicing, and reconciliation.

Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.

Good numerical accuracy, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Candidate

Experience in a modular furniture, interior design, retail, trading, or franchise business will be an added advantage.
