Accounts Executive

Role & responsibilities

· Maintain books of accounts and accounting records.

· Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).

· regular reconciliation of GSTR-2B/2A with purchase registers to maximize Input Tax Credit (ITC) claim accuracy.

· Maintain general ledgers, process accounts payable/receivable, and verify vendor invoices

· Prepare bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny.

· Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

· Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities when required.

· Generate financial reports and MIS statements.

Preferred candidate profile

· Bachelor's degree in Commerce B. Com, M. Com. or related field.

· 3 to 7 years of core accounting experience in Manufacturing Company having turnover 60-150 crores, with at least 25 years focused heavily on GST compliance.

· Strong knowledge of GST return filing, and reconciliations.

· Proficiency in accounting software like Tally Prime, SAP, alongside advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

· Understanding of CGST, SGST, IGST, Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM), and ITC rules.
