Accounts Executive (Contract)

About the role

This is a 9-month contract role involved in the daily finance and accounting operations of the Company. The role requires close collaboration with the Finance team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial regulations and Company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and on a timely basis.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on outstanding reconciling items.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, schedules, and analysis.
• Support finance-related activities as required.
• Support statutory and compliance reporting requirements.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for finance processes and controls.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the finance team and other ad hoc assignments as required.

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP software.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
