Accounts Executive - FULL TIME

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our team. The role will support the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of our Kuala Lumpur office, as well as provide accounting support to our Australian office and cross-border operations. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organized, reliable and comfortable working independently, while collaborating with an international team.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and maintain the full set of accounts
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash transactions
• Process accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Perform accurate coding and posting of transactions in the accounting system
• Assist with monthly invoicing and aged debtor management
• Assist with payroll processing for the Australian office
• Support cross-border and intercompany transactions
• Assist with monthly financial reporting and analysis
• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and accounting procedures

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years' relevant accounting experience
• Experience handling full set of accounts
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Xero or similar cloud-based accounting systems
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Knowledge or experience of Australian GST will be an advantage
