Accounts Executive, Receivable

About the role
This full-time Accounts Executive, Receivable role at Subway Malaysia Sdn Bhd will be based in Shah Alam, Selangor. Reporting to the Finance team, you'll be responsible for managing accounts receivable activities to ensure the timely collection of payments and maintenance of healthy cash flow for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Generate and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner.
2. Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up regularly via email, phone, or official letters.
3. Perform daily posting of receipts and reconcile customer accounts.
4. Maintain the accounts receivable ledger and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
5. Resolve payment discrepancies and respond promptly to customer queries regarding billing or account issues.
6. Prepare aging reports and assist in credit control analysis.
7. Collaborate with operations teams to resolve billing disputes or queries.
8. Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
9. Assist with month-end closing activities including AR reports and reconciliations.
10. Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
11. Support audits related to AR processes.

Requirements

1. Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting.
3. Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, in particular with Microsoft Excel.
6. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
7. Candidates who can start work immediately will be advantages.
