Accounts Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, track incoming and outgoing payments, and reconcile vendor or customer accounts.
• General Ledger: Assist in preparing, recording, and posting basic journal entries.
• Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and support balance sheet account tracking.
• Reporting & Close Support: Help compile data for month-end or year-end financial close activities and basic reports.
• Administrative Tasks: Maintain physical and digital filing systems, handle data entry, and organize financial documents for audits.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or a recent graduate).
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and bookkeeping fundamentals.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting platforms like QuickBooks, SAP, or Xero.
• Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
