Accounts Manager

1. Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), statutory requirements, and internal policies.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, and regulatory authorities.
• Maintain strong internal controls and governance to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

2. Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning

• Lead the annual budgeting process and prepare periodic forecasts.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide variance analysis and actionable insights to management.
• Manage cash flow planning, working capital, and liquidity to support operational and strategic needs.
• Support costing analysis and profitability improvement initiatives.

3. Financial Analysis & Business Partnering

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization and business improvement.
• Provide timely and relevant financial reports and recommendations to support management decision-making.
• Partner with operational teams to improve financial discipline, cost control, and operational efficiency.
• Support management in evaluating investments, capital expenditures, and strategic initiatives.

4. Internal Controls, Process Improvement & Systems

• Establish and maintain effective financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting efficiency, and data accuracy.
• Support ERP system and in-house (Netsuit) system enhancements, automation, and digitalization initiatives.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.

5. Strategic & Corporate Finance Support (Exposure Level)

• Support management in evaluating business expansion opportunities, investments, or corporate initiatives.
• Assist in financial due diligence, financial modelling, and integration planning where applicable.
• Provide accounting guidance and ensure proper financial reporting for new business initiatives.
• Work closely with senior management on long-term financial planning.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Experience in M&A, capital raising, fund raising, accounting / transaction services, or investment banking.
• Skills: Strong financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence expertise.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, corporate finance, and M&A practices.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software and systems, including ERP systems.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the specific industry or industries in which the company operates – etc: logistics and manufacturing.
